1 x 2018 Ameztoi Txakoli, Cantabria – Northern Spain’s answer to Portugal’s Vinho Verde. Best enjoyed as young as possible this delicious light wine has a gentle spritz and a lemon sherbet/saline finish. Brilliant aperitif, also great with shellfish.
1 x 2019 M.I.P Rosé, Cotes de Provence – Perfect, great value Provencal rosé, peach and tomato leaf aromas.
1 x 2018 “Hurluberlu” Cabernet Franc, Sebastian David, Loire – Fantastic fresh Cabernet Franc. Buckets of raspberry/blueberry/blackcurrant fruit and a satisfying mineral finish. Great served cool.
1 x 2019 “Keep On Punching” Chenin Blanc, Swaartland S.A – A beautifully balanced and refreshing Chenin from superstar South African winemaker Craig Hawkins.
1 x 2016 Domaine de la Mordoreé Lirac – Full bodied but not overbearing. Lots of forest fruit character and a long finish. Fantastic winemaking
1 x Valdespino Inocente Fino – Considering the finished wine is ten years old, it is bursting with freshness and flavour. The Fino Inocente, made from grapes grown in Valdespino’s own vineyard, Marcharnudo Alto has complex aromas of sea salt and toasty yeast with a lifted, citrus finish
